A Man in his prime,
In the Lord’s blessings he will swim,
If he stays true to his calling.
Our Lord, keeper of His word,
Will keep him from falling.
His calling if he shuns,
The lord’s light from heaven will,
Blind him at once.
When the scales fall from his eyes,
Like Saul, for the Lord he will rise.
Every man when his consciousness is ready,
His awakening will come.
His life will be steady.
Things greater than himself, he will gravitate toward.
Backwards never his movement, forward.
The world revolving on its axis,
Will be of little marvel to him,
Will be filled to the brim.
Tribulations he will have many,
For life’s journey is U-shaped.
By dawn he is on a pinnacle,
Dusk he is in a valley.
